General Outline: 

Vineland Research and Innovation Centre (Vineland) is recruiting for two summer students, grounds operations to work in an industry-driven research environment. Vineland is a world-class research centre dedicated to horticultural science and innovation. Located in Canada’s Niagara Region, Vineland’s mission is to deliver innovative products and production solutions that address the needs of the horticulture industry and advance Canada’s research and commercialization agenda. Duties & Responsibilities: 

To assist with duties required for our grounds department.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cutting grass, raking, hoeing, weeding, watering etc.


  • High school, attending college or university

Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

  • Landscaping experience desired
  • Pesticide Spray License an asset

The term of appointment for these positions is April 29, 2019 to August 30, 2019.
