The latest in whitefly control

Whitefly is proving to be one of the most difficult pests to control, mainly due to the lack of effective registered chemicals that can eradicate silverleaf whitefly. It is also due to the unwillingness of biological suppliers to bring Eretmocerus mundus back to the market – the only predator proven to be effective against this pest. With this in mind, Greenhouse Canada has decided to focus its annual Grower Day on whitefly issues. Two researchers from Vineland Research and Innovation Centre will be presenters at this event.
