Vineland Research and Innovation Centre (Vineland) is recruiting for an Analyst, Sustainability Assessment to join our amazing team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, Consumer, Sensory & Market Insights (CSMI), the Analyst, Sustainability Assessment will support data collection, analysis and creation of environmental impact assessments related to greenhouse gas emissions, environmental baseline studies, life-cycle analysis and environmental cost-benefit analysis.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support project development, data collection, analysis and creation of environmental impact assessments related to greenhouse gas emissions, environmental impact baseline studies, life-cycle analysis and environmental cost-benefit analysis for internal and external projects
Compile relevant data from primary and secondary sources
Complete statistical analysis, interpretation and report writing of environmental impact assessments
Interpret results with regard to their business sustainability relevance and devise actions, present findings to internal and external stakeholders
Support corporate accounting and reporting of ESG quantitative metrics

Qualifications

BSc or MSc with two to three years of relevant experience in environmental sustainability, agriculture or related field
Experience with data collection, statistical analysis and report writing

Knowledge and Skills:

Research and technical skills – demonstrated experience of working in one or more of the following areas:
- Greenhouse gas estimation projects and carbon footprint reduction techniques/methods/tools
- Environmental baseline studies and developing KPIs related to environmental impact assessments
- Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies
- Environmental cost-benefit analysis (CBA)
