The next big thing in edible ornamentals
Edible garden plants for residential use have been identified as a growing trend by Canadian nursery industry experts. A focus group was held in September 2014 and the group brainstormed a list of new edible ornamentals that may have potential for success in the market. Based on the results of the focus group, Vineland researchers compiled a list of 20 edible ornamental plants to test with 492 Canadian consumers.
