Greening the Landscape Research Consortium – Conversation Series 2025
Presented in collaboration with ISA Ontario and offer 1.0 CEU (live broadcast only) from the International Society of Arboriculture.

The Greening the Landscape Research Consortium, launched in 2021 and led by the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre, brings together people who care about creating healthier, greener cities across Canada. Our goal is simple: share knowledge, spark collaboration, and support a stronger, more sustainable urban tree value chain.
As our cities face growing environmental challenges, working together and learning from one another has never been more important. That’s why we created our Conversation Series a space to highlight experts, explore new ideas, and make research more accessible to everyone in the community.
Our first video features Dr. Ed Gilman and Dr. Deb Hilbert as they dig into the importance of proper root structure in young trees. Our second video takes a look at Urban Trees as an
Essential Aspect of Public Health, with insights from Dr. Matilda van den Bosch and Dr. Geof Donovan.
We look forward to continuing these meaningful conversations with our community. Please take a moment to listen to our recordings, that are shared on YouTube.
