One Canadian grower is hoping to build a new industry for the province of Alberta: sweet potatoes. Stephanie Lessner of Alberta Sweet Potatoes is planting something unique to the Canadian market – the Radiance variety of sweet potato developed by Vineland Research and Innovation Centre in Lincoln, ON.
