Remembering the Sakura project Remembering the Sakura project

In May 2000, the Consul-General of Japan had a dream to donate 3,000 Sakura trees to the province of Ontario to celebrate their strong relationship. As a thank you to propagate all the trees, Vineland was gifted 40 trees to build the on-site Sakura Friendship Garden which is open to the public all year long.
